Don’t cry me a river

I worked for my home with a view. I didn’t blame my parents for war and the economy I inherited. I just wanted them to leave me alone to figure it out for myself, and eventually we did. I worked to solve problems not blame people for them. If that makes me a spoiled boomer child than so be it.

I didn’t spend my youth working out in gyms drinking expensive coffee and eating takeout food whining about living on women’s wages. I spent my youth physically building my home inside an old warehouse while camping out in it. I put my knowledge of art and science to use, designing plumbing and electrical systems to retrofit an old warehouse and bringing it up to code. I did this while living in it and working to pay the bills. It was work at home in the middle of a construction site.

So don’t whine at me about the plight of your generation.
